At the tip of Nugget Point, the sea lions have their playground and resting area. On the high seas out there, sea lions have to confront the much larger and stronger orcas. Even if they are not known for attacking people, they earn their name of killer whales because they feed on all kinds of sea mammals. So the sea lions deserve a good rest!
