plants & animals 2
My prime 'natural history' interests as a teen were
plants and sea shells. Most youngsters in the nature
study organisation I belonged to (BJN - now replaced
by JNM)
were more keen on birds, and some could recognise
them by their song, or were quick enough to sight
them in the foliage of trees.
I love butterflies, 'flying flowers', but they are
difficult to photograph. they will always try to
tease you, lure you into some thorny bushes when you
try to get a good close-up.
Our spotless white cat, Zoentje, is another subject
that has to be treated here...
